Videos Don't Play Right Away |
|
Videos must be encoded using the H.264 codec, plus they must be "prepared for internet streaming".
Pickle was designed to only handle H.264 video, since this video format is the only format that will play across all devices properly.
If videos are not "prepared for internet streaming" then the video will not start to play back as soon as possible, and the entire video must be loaded before anything starts to play.
We highly recommend using Quicktime's "Export For Web" feature which encodes videos properly by using the H.264 code and the "prepare for internet streaming" option. Plus, Quciktime does a great job balancing file size to quality.
